The Aditya Wireless Auto Changeover Water Level Controller is an advanced intelligent water management system designed to automatically control water transfer between borewell to sump, and Sump to overhead tank.

The system intelligently monitors water levels and automatically operates sump and borewell motors to maintain continuous water supply while protecting pumps from dry run, signal loss, and water flow failures.

Using long-range wireless technology, solar powered tank sensors, and smart safety algorithms, the controller provides a fully automatic and reliable water automation solution for homes, apartments, villas, and commercial buildings.


System Automation Overview

The controller automatically manages the water system in the following sequence:

Borewell  to Sump & Sump to  Overhead Tank

This ensures:

• Continuous water supply
• No tank overflow
• No pump dry run
• Intelligent motor safety


Automatic Sump to Tank Operation

The overhead tank is monitored using four water level sensing points.

Tank Levels

• 25%
• 50%
• 75%
• 100%

The sump is monitored using three sensing points.

Sump Levels

• Low
• Half
• Full

Working Logic

When the tank water level falls below 50%:

The controller checks the sump water level.

If sufficient water is available, the sump motor starts automatically.

The motor runs until the tank reaches 100% level.

The motor then stops automatically.


Automatic Borewell to Sump Changeover

If the sump becomes empty while filling the tank, the controller performs automatic source changeover.

Changeover Sequence

The controller stops the sump motor.

The borewell motor starts automatically.

Borewell fills the sump until half level.

Borewell motor stops automatically.

The controller restarts the sump motor.

The sump motor continues filling the tank until 100% level.

Why Only Half Sump Filling?

Half of the sump capacity is reserved for municipal water storage, ensuring water availability from external supply sources.


Intelligent Water Flow Detection

The controller verifies actual water flow after motor start.

After motor starts:

• The system checks if water is flowing to the tank.
• If flow is detected, the motor continues running.

A Water Flow LED indicator confirms proper flow.

If No Water Is Detected

If water flow is not detected within 1 minute:

• Motor automatically switches OFF
Red fault LED turns ON
Alarm beeps every 10 seconds

This helps detect problems such as:

• Dry borewell
• Air lock in pipeline
• Pipe blockage
• Pump failure


Advanced Dry Run Protection

The system continuously monitors sump water level to prevent pump damage.

If the sump water level becomes insufficient:

• The motor automatically stops immediately

This protects the pump from dry running and overheating.


Power Failure Recovery Protection

When power supply returns after a failure:

• The controller gives a 2-second beep indication.

If tank level is below 50%:

• The system waits 1 minute before starting the motor.

This delay ensures power stability and motor protection.


Manual Water Demand Function

Users can manually request water filling using the NEED Button.

When the NEED button is pressed:

• Motor starts immediately
• Tank fills automatically to 100%
• Motor stops automatically


Visual Motor Operation Indicators

The front panel provides clear motor status indications.

When the motor runs:

Motor ON LED glows
Rotating LED indicators show active motor operation

This makes system status easy to understand.


Wireless Technology Architecture

The controller uses long-range wireless communication between:

• Tank sensor unit
• Sump sensor unit
• Main control unit

This eliminates the need for long wiring between tank and motor room.

Signal Loss Protection

If signal is not received within 1 minute:

• Signal loss alert appears
• Alarm beeps every 30 seconds

If signal is lost while the motor is running:

• Motor automatically stops for safety


AI Safety Signal Protection

If wireless communication fails during motor operation:

  2. If signal does not recover:

Long Range Wireless Coverage
